Chelsea to move for Diawara

Chelsea will make a shock offer for Napoli defensive midfielder Amadou Diawara, according to reports.

The 19-year-old arrived in Naples from Bologna this summer for a reported fee of €15m.

Tuttosport claim that Blues boss Antonio Conte has made contact with the Partenopei, discussing a transfer worth in the region of €40-50m.

The Guinea-native has made three starts for Napoli this year, and the club are reportedly unwilling to allow the player to leave for the Premier League until the summer.
