Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has been named All Football Player of the Week for the FIRST time! Congratulations!
De Gea highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Suarez, Jesus, Ceballos & Cutrone to the award.
Rashford may have scored the goal in Manchester United's victory over Tottenham but it was De Gea who did more than most to secure three points at Wembley.
The Spanish goalkeeper made full use of every limb to deny a second-half Tottenham onslaught with an incredible 11 saves. More than any other keeper has made in a league game this season. Spurs shot, Dave saved.
As De Gea said 'this is the real Man Utd' after the game, this is the real De Gea, too. He can be relied upon, just like Van der Sar and Schmeichel, and as much as pretty much any goalkeeper you can think of.
