champions league is 13 game while league is 38 games. in the pass 10 season Barcelona won 7 league and madrid won just 2. league games are playing week in week out. winning a league show the depth of your team. i think only difference is objectives madrid priority is to win CL and make headlines while Barcelona fucus on triple.

Article 4: Another Barcelona double overshadowed by Real Madrid

No doubt. Real triumph in the Champions League has made Barca's double feel like the Emirates cup. It's particularly disheartening considering the circumstances on how Barca got bundled out of the competition. The double for any club would be a great achievement, Arsenal would kill to win that, but the UCL being best club competition totally trumps the double. For most Barca fan, like myself, the anger stems from the fact that Barca could have been playing in that final against Real Madrid and would have been a worthy opponent for Real. Theirs that feeling that only Barca could have stopped Madrid from winning a third consecutive UCL title. And when you just look back at the Roma game the anger and how a 3 goal lead was thrown away It just you even more angry and considering how close we were, which would have lessened the pain, to going the whole league season unbeaten, only to be dashed against Levante has left a bitter taste in the mouth of Barca faithfuls.
