Salah and Marmoush will play in AFCON third-place game and will not return early

According to the reporter, despite failing to reach the final, both Salah and Marmoush will represent Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations third-place match against Nigeria, for performance reasons. After the match, the two key players will return to England to join their respective clubs' preparations.

Salah currently plays for Liverpool, while Marmoush plays for Manchester City. Both have been key figures in Egypt's attack during this Africa Cup of Nations.

Liverpool will face Burnley this weekend, while Manchester City will host Manchester United in the Manchester derby this round.
