AFCON 2025: Burkina Faso coach has been dismissed!

On Wednesday, the Burkinabe Football Federation officially announced the departure of coach Brama Traoré and his entire technical staff.
This radical decision comes after the Étalons’ failure at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where their results were deemed insufficient in light of their initial goal of reaching the competition’s final four.
Noting a poor performance that disappointed both fans and sports authorities, the governing body has ended a collaboration that began in 2024.
The FBF announced that a new recruitment process will be launched immediately to provide the national team with new technical staff capable of reviving the momentum of Burkinabe football.
