AFCON 2025: Cameroon’s Christian Kofane relaxed before Morocco test

With the quarterfinal between Cameroon and Morocco scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m., tensions are rising, but not among the Indomitable Lions.
When asked at a press conference about the hostile atmosphere expected from the Moroccan crowd, young Cameroonian striker Christian Kofane dismissed any fears out of hand.
For him, the team’s experience of playing in large European stadiums is enough to inoculate them against the pressure from the host country’s fans.
The player stated with remarkable confidence:
“There are clubs like Dortmund that have even more fans. So there’s no pressure. We’re working hard and we’ll apply what we’ve been preparing all week.”
He spoke in particular about what the AFCON means for his young football career.
