Nigeria’s Super Eagles are in line for massive financial rewards as they continue their charge for glory at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reportedly approved a lucrative bonus structure that will see each player earn a substantial payout if they lift the continental trophy in Morocco.

According to the breakdown, every Super Eagles player will receive $30,000 for a flawless group-stage campaign.

Under the guidance of head coach Eric Chelle, Nigeria delivered a dominant start to the tournament, winning all three matches in Group D — defeating Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda without dropping a point.

The squad has already secured an additional $12,500 per player following their hard-fought Round of 16 victory over Mozambique’s Mambas (Mambas of Mozambique) — a game that saw Nigeria progress with confidence and attacking authority.

More cash incentives await if their winning run continues. A quarter-final triumph over Algeria’s Desert Foxes will guarantee $15,000 per player.

Nigeria is scheduled to face Algeria in what is expected to be one of the tournament’s most explosive knockout fixtures.

Should the Super Eagles reach the semifinal and win against either Cameroon or tournament hosts Morocco, each player will earn $17,500.

The stakes peak in the final, where victory will deliver a further $20,000 per player, followed by a championship bonus of $20,000 each for winning the title — bringing the total potential earnings per player to $112,500, excluding any undisclosed federation or private sponsorship incentives.

Nigeria last won the AFCON title in 2013, and this current squad — packed with elite talent including Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray and other Premier League and European-based stars — has reignited belief among fans that a fourth continental crown is within reach.

The bonus package is seen as a strategic motivation move by the NFF, aimed at boosting morale, rewarding discipline, and driving performance as the team navigates the tournament’s toughest phase.

As Nigeria prepares for the Algeria showdown, the message is clear: victory not only moves them closer to the trophy — it also moves millions of dollars closer to the players.
