Leicester fans are planning to stage a protest against the club hierarchy this Saturday to coincide with the Foxes’ televised clash with Arsenal.

An increasing number of supporters are disillusioned with decisions made at the top of the club, which they believe led to relegation in 2023 and fear will cause another drop into the Championship this season.
A group of supporters are planning to march together towards King Power Stadium and urge fans to voice their frustrations in the 14th minute. The number 14 relates to the failed transfer of Adrien Silva in 2017. Leicester agreed a £22million deal to sign the Portuguese midfielder from Sporting Lisbon, only to miss the deadline to register him by 14 seconds.
Director of football Jon Rudkin has been targeted by supporter chants throughout the campaign. Rudkin is a trusted ally of Leicester chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha but finds himself in the spotlight for the club’s mixed transfer record in recent times.
A representative for the group, who call themselves Project Reset, said: ‘At Leicester, trust between fans, players and those running the club has eroded with time.
‘In a period of persistent instability and declining results, continued silence has become unforgivable as the club appears lacking in direction and vision. It fuels the perception that fans are, at best, expected to be devoted cheerleaders – regardless of what the grand plan might be.

‘With a lack of clear guidance from the hierarchy, fans are left guessing. Decisions appear reactionary, inconsistent, and without reference to any clear guiding principles.
‘Quite simply, something has to change – and that is why we’re advocating for a footballing reset at Leicester City.’
Leicester replaced Steve Cooper with Ruud van Nistelrooy late last year but they have lost eight of their last nine league games under the Dutchman, leaving them in the bottom three. Despite clear deficiencies in the squad, Leicester added only one player – full-back Woyo Coulibaly – in the winter transfer window.
