In as much as there are so many players in Chelsea book, omission of a star player on a match day squad is inevitable. Some players really need to be sold or loaned to enable the coach manage his team to avoid keeping some players unhappy just like Sterling today. Expect more of this........

...I see Barca fans saying they want him to leave. Some are asking for him to be replaced by a younger player. You guys don't know why Real Madrid is excelling. It's bcos they retain the services of their older, more experienced players like Vasquez, Carvajal, Modric, etc. What they say and teach the younger players in training, u can't coach it into a player(remember Benz n Vini issue). Immediately when Kroos decided to retire, Perez offered Modric a contract. We understand the impact of experienced players, maybe Barca doesn't.
