Chelsea had initially walked away from the table for Omorodion after seeing an approach rebuffed earlier in the transfer window but talks were reignited during discussions for Conor Gallagher, who is joining Atletico in a separate £36m deal.  And the arrival of Omorodion will see Broja and Datro Fofana fall even further down the Chelsea pecking order with talks over their futures now set to intensify.
