Arsenal Women have failed to qualify for the Champions League following a shock defeat on penalties to Paris FC.
Although Arsenal made it through to the semi-finals last season, they won't be involved in this season's competition after losing in Sweden.
Following a goalless first half, Paris took the lead through a header from Mathilde Bourdieu, who added another goal shortly afterwards.
Arsenal responded, with recent signing Alessia Russo reducing the deficit.
Substitute Jen Beattie then scored a header to send the game to extra-time.
Daphne Corboz put Paris ahead in extra-time, with Russo then netting again in impressive fashion to send the game to penalties.
In the shootout, Russo and Frida Maanum both missed for Arsenal. Daphne Corboz was unable to net for Paris but Louna Ribadeira scored the winning spot-kick.
What's next for Arsenal?
Arsenal begin their Women's Super League season on Sunday October 1 against Liverpool with kick-off at 2pm.
Their trip to Manchester United on Friday October 6 will be shown live on Sky Sports Premier League. Kick-off 7.30pm.
