England are bidding to become just the third side to hold both the Women's World Cup and Women's European Championships this weekend.
Sarina Wiegman's side reached their first ever World Cup final when they beat Australia 3-1 in Sydney on Wednesday and will take on Spain, who are also in their first final.
The match promises to be a thriller, and the Lionesses are looking to make more history and add to their success from last year when they lifted the Euros on home turf.
England had never won a major tournament before last year, but Wiegman's introduction as manager has led the side to successes they had previously only dreamed of.
Now, they are looking to join Norway and Germany as the only other sides to have held both tournaments at the same time.
Norway enjoyed their most successful period in the 1990s, winning the European Championships in 1993 and the World Cup in 1995.
They had been runners-up in the previous two Euros, 1989 and 1991, losing to Germany in the final of both tournaments having also won the title in 1987 on home soil.
They were also World Cup runners-up to the USA in 1991 before lifting the trophy for the first time four years later.
Germany, meanwhile, are by far the most successful women's team from a European point of view.
With eight European Championships to their name, including five in a row from 1995 to 2013, they were once the dominant force to beat, also winning the World Cup in 2003 and 2007.
But this time around they were knocked out at the group stage, paving the way for a new name to be etched on the trophy.
If England win, they will become just the second nation whose women's and men's teams have both won the World Cup. Also after Germany.
Just four sides have won the Women's World Cup since it's debut in 1991. The USA, Norway, Germany and Japan. That will change this Sunday.
