Al-Nassr could stump up for Clement Lenglet

Clement Lenglet returned from his loan spell at Tottenham last season and has rejoined the Blaugrana squad. He finished the American tour under Xavi's orders without playing a single minute and is awaiting a way out.

The first option that was considered was a move to Tottenham if the English club would pay his wage and he could end up in the Premier League for a minimal or symbolic transfer fee, but things have changed in Lenglet's exit operation. Saudi Arabia has knocked on the player's door and the deal could now become a source of income for FC Barcelona.

It is Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo's club, who have asked for the player's exit to reinforce their defence and although the deal is not yet closed, the figure that the Saudi team would pay Barça could be around 15 million euros.

Tottenham's door is not shut but they would have to raise the initial financial offer and if they match the Saudi team's offer, the preference is for him to go to the Premier League.

Al-Nassr have put a three-year contract on the table for Lenglet, which runs until 2026 and comes with figures that maintain the French player's current wage level.
