Manchester United outcast Alex Telles is close to being the latest name to move to the Saudi Pro League, by entering talks with Al-Nassr.

The Portuguese left-back spent last season on loan at Spanish club Sevilla, but having returned to Old Trafford looks set to be heading for the exit.

According to The Athletic, talks are underway between United and the Saudi side, where Tells would reunite with former Red Devils teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined the club in January.

Telles joined Manchester United in a £15m deal from Porto in 2020, and has made 50 appearances for the club, scoring his own goal in a 2-1 win over Villarreal in the Champions League.

However, the 30-year-old is yet to play a competitive game under Erik ten Hag, and enjoyed a fruitful season-long  at Sevilla, where he picked up a Europa League winners medal.

Following Ronaldo's move to Al-Nassr at the start of the year, a flood of European names have joined the former United ace in moving to the middle east.

Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante have joined current Saudi champs Al-lttihad, while Al-Hilal splashed out on Wolves' Ruben Neves and Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Edouard Mendy has also left Stamford Bridge to sign for Al Ahil, where he'll link up with former Liverpool frontman Roberto Firmino.

There also remains interest in bringing in Liverpool's Fabino and Riyad Mahrez at Man City to the Saudi Pro League.

If Telles does exit Old Trafford,  he'll join Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones in exiting the club this summer, while Mason Mount has joined the Red Devils in a £55m deal.

The club have also agreed a deal with Inter Milan for goalkeeper Andre Onana, with the transfer set to be completed later this week.
