Lionesses stars Beth Mead and Lucy Bronze have received their MBEs for services to football on Thursday, after their part in England's Euro 2022 triumph.
The pair have been pictured receiving their royal honours from Prince William during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.
It tops off a spate of awards for Arsenal star Mead, who was the Golden Boot winner at the Euro 2022 tournament and went on to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year back in December.
Barcelona right-back Bronze also played a huge part during the championships, scoring against Sweden and playing a part in Chloe Kelly's winning goal in the final against Germany.
Both players were seen receiving their MBEs from Prince William, and they appeared to be in great spirits as they spoke to the Prince of Wales and shook his hand.
The pair were among four of England's Euro 2022-winning side included on the New Year Honours list.
Skipper Leah Williamson and Ellen White were the other players to be recognised following their triumph in July 2022 - the first piece of major silverware for a senior England team since the men's 1966 World Cup success.
Arsenal defender Williamson lifted the trophy following a 2-1 extra-time victory for Sarina Wiegman's side over Germany at Wembley, where a crowd of 87,192 - a record for any Euros match, women's or men's - were in attendance.
Williamson becomes an OBE, while White like Mead and Bronze was made an MBE.
Mead was also named player of the tournament at the Euros and claimed the Golden Boot, having scored six goals and provided five assists.
There had been some questions raised by supporters why the full England squad had not been recognised.
Asked why not all the England squad have been recognised following their Euros triumph, Sir Hugh Robertson, chairman of the honours sports committee, said: 'The approach that we've tried to take with this is when we have these events there is a danger in sort of carpet-bombing the entire squad because then you get people who've done five minutes on the pitch and get an award.
'So what we've tried to do is stick to the principle of the honours which is to recognise excellence and to recognise extraordinary contributions.'
The team's Dutch head coach Sarina Wiegman was also made a CBE on the Overseas List.
Mead ruptured her ACL in November, and Wiegman said she is not in her World Cup plans unless a 'miracle happens'.
Bronze had keyhole surgery at the end of April but was only expected to miss a couple of weeks.
