Arsenal Women make history as fans sell out Emirates for UWCL Wolfsburg clash

The Gunners face Wolfsburg at home for the second tie after fighting back to come from 2-0 down and drawing 2-2 at full time in Germany

Arsenal Women have made history before even playing their second leg UWCL semi-final tie against Wolfsburg.

Fans have snapped up more than 60,000 tickets, making tomorrow (Monday) afternoon's clash at the Emirates Stadium a complete sell-out set to witness Jonas Eidevall’s side compete for a place in the final, to be played in Eindhoven on Saturday 3 June.

The tie is finely poised following a 2-2 draw in Germany after an admirable fightback from the Gunners.

The sell-out means that over 240,000 tickets have been purchased to watch Arsenal Women at Emirates Stadium this season, with three Barclays Women’s Super League matches and five Champions League games taking place in N5.
