Chelsea's Champions League dream came to an end on Wednesday night as they were beaten 2-1 on aggregate by Barcelona.
The Blues managed a 1-1 draw on the night but their 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge last weekend meant the Catalans progressed to the final for a third year running.
Caroline Graham Hansen put Barca ahead in the 63rd minute at the Nou Camp but Guro Reiten levelled four minutes later to give Emma Hayes' side hope.
But it was not to be, as Chelsea failed to find another goal to force extra-time.
Hayes' players can have pride in their efforts, though, with Barca having lost just once in all competitions this season.
A crowd of 72,626 was watching on at the Nou Camp - the third largest attendance in the competition's history.
The home fans were celebrating early as Caroline Graham Hansen, who scored the only goal in the first leg, put the ball in the net inside 10 minutes.
But the winger was in a slight offside position and her strike was rightly ruled out.
Barca, unsurprisingly, dominated possession but Chelsea's defence held firm and managed to stop the Catalans having a shot on target in the first half.
Their resistance, however, came to an end just past the hour mark as Graham Hansen once again found the net.
Aitana Bonmati drove at the Chelsea defence before threading the ball through to her team-mate to finish through the legs of Ann-Katrin Berger.
But the Blues were back in it four minutes later when the ball dropped to Reiten to finish into an empty net after Sandra Panos had parried Sam Kerr's effort.
Hayes sent on Lauren James and Pernille Harder in the hope of forcing extra-time but Chelsea were unable to find another goal as Barca ran the clock down.
