Monterrey-Chivas Liga MX preview

Chivas have a record of 12 wins and 10 defeats away to Monterrey.

Monterrey and Chivas will face off in an unprecedented match this weekend at the start of the Clausura 2023 tournament, as it will be the first time in the history of their clashes that they will meet at the start of a league season.

Monterrey have the advantage with 26 wins in the 58 matches they have played since short tournaments started in 1996, the reality is that it will be interesting to see how both teams approach this match at the start of their respective Liga MX campaigns.

So far, the team coached by Serbian Veljko Paunovic, has 12 wins and 10 defeats away to Monterrey. The home team has scored more goals than the team from Guadalajara, 43 goals to the Chiverio’s 42.
