Meet new EPL Wags of 2022-23, from an ex-NFL cheerleader to Argentinian showgirl

The Premier League is back!

Crystal Palace and Arsenal kick off the football season on Friday as the nine-month rollercoaster of emotion begins.

And this summer, our top flight clubs have been busy boosting their squads with new signings they hope will quickly settle into their new surroundings and become a success.

But it's not just the footballers who need to acclimatise to a new country, their Wags will be joining them on an adventure too.

From a former NFL cheerleader to an Argentinian showgirl, this year's new additions will add to the glam of the greatest league in the world.

US goalie Turner made a great catch in Ashley - who was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots.

The pom pom queen, 25, even got the opportunity to perform at Super Bowl LII, as Tom Brady's team were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In 2018, Herron earned a Masters degree in business from Harvard University - and focussed her studies on 'Organisational Behaviour in relation to disruptive marketing.'

Last month, they became proud parents to a son called Easton and they also married recently too.

Liverpool's £85million Uruguayan has dated Spanish beauty Lorena, and they have a son together, Darwin Jr.

The blonde beauty, who is pals with Lionel Messi's missus Antonella, was previously in a romance with Barcelona ace Aleix Vidal, and they share a daughter.

Back in March, loved-up Nunez took his love, believed to be older than him, to his homeland and posted images on social media.

He captioned some photos: “First time in Uruguay my love and I hope there will be many more.

"Thank you for so much. I love you.”

The Argentinian missus of Man Utd new boy Lisandro Martinez has appeared at various South American carnivals - wearing the most extraordinary outfits.

The pair are longterm partners - having reportedly met when they were 14.

The 24-year-old has seen his rise - from Newell's Old Boys to Ajax and now Old Trafford.

The Gunners have been busy adding a host of talented stars to their squad, including Portugal international Vieira.

His girlfriend is 21-year-old economics student Carina Raquel, who has been clocking up her air miles this summer.

The pair enjoyed a break in Santorini, Greece. And in the past year, she's travelled to Maldives, Barcelona and Paris, Milan, Lake Como and Mykonos.

Surely that got her a free flight to London?

Josipa, 31, was a good luck charm for the forward at the 2018 World Cup, where his country Croatia reached the final.

The brunette beauty was ever-present in the stands, wearing a Croatia jersey and cheering her man on.

The pair were childhood sweethearts, and married in 2012.

They have three children together, who will no doubt be tuned in to dad's Spurs games.

West Ham splashed £10million on Downes from Swansea, who will be joined in East London by blonde beauty Summer.

She joined the 23-year-old midfielder on the pitch at The Swansea.com Stadium to celebrate the end of the Championship season.

The stylish Wag enjoyed some time in Jamaica this summer with her beau and showed off her bikini body.

And she won't get left behind in the fashion stakes - showing off a collection of designer clobber on social media, including Balenciaga T-shirts and Chanel handbags.

This summer, West Ham finally completed a deal for Alphonse Areola - who spent last season on loan from PSG.

That means his incredible wife, Filipino-Lebanese beauty Marrion, 34, is here to stay on our shores.

The mother-of-three is a keen tennis player, regularly showing off her skills on Instagram to over 100,000 followers.

And she also has a celeb friend in Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes.

Israel winger Solomon, 23, will be hoping to impress at Craven Cottage this campaign.

Helping him move from Donetsk to West London is Dana, who he has reportedly dated since 2018.

Not much is known about her, but she too hails from Israel.

And according to her Instagram, she is a communications and political science student.

Ortega might not see many minutes as Ederson's back-up at Man City this season.

So, wife Sabina might have to be patient before she can visit the Etihad to see him play.

The pair got married in a beautiful ceremony in Mallorca this summer.
