After finishing '17 with Crew SC, Manneh visits Union Berlin

Kekuta Manneh's season may have come to an end last week, but he is certainly not in vacation mode.

FC Union Berlin announced via Twitter on Tuesday that Manneh is on a week-long trial at the club. The 22-year-old winger is looking to impress at the 2. German Bundesliga outfit after helping Columbus Crew SC reach the Eastern Conference Championship, which they lost to Toronto FC by a 1-0 aggregate score.

Manneh is currently out of contract after a March move to Columbus from the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Manneh, who will turn 23 at the end of the month, made nine starts in 19 appearances for the Eastern Conference side while scoring four goals and delivering three assists in regular-season play. He earned two starts in three appearances for Vancouver prior to that in 2017.

Manneh played in all five of Columbus' postseason matches this year, but did not start in any of them.
