Tottenham ace Son Heung-min named All Football Player of the Week

The Spurs ace Son Heung-min has been named All Football Player of the Week.

Sonny highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Nicolas Pepe, Milinkovic-Savic, Gnabry and Kouassi to the award.

The South Korean winger has become the basis of Spurs' attack since Harry Kane was out for months due to injury. It seemed really hard for Mourinho to lift his side into the place of Champions League spot without Kane, however, Sonny stood out, he played better than before and brought wins for Spurs with his brilliant performances.

In the 3-2 win over Aston Villa, Sonny's first goal let Spurs come back at the end of the first half, and at the injury time of the match, he completed a wonderful solo goal to seal the victory. This brace also made him become first Asian football player to net 50 goals in Premier League, what a great achievement.

Now Mourinho's side has come to the 5th place of the standings, just one point behind Chelsea. In light of the recent suspensions on Man City, they could enter next season's Champions League by keeping their current place.
