5 goals & 5 assists! Leipzig ace Werner named All Football Player of the Week

Leipzig attacker Timo Werner has been named All Football Player of the Week.

Werner highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Messi, Aguero, Lukaku and Mane to the award.

The German forward scored a hat-trick and registered three assists during the 8-0 victory against Mainz, taking his tally for the season to 13 goals in 15 appearances after his 2-goal and 2-assist show in the German Cup win over Wolfburg.

Werner has emerged as one of the Bundesliga's top forwards, even the World's best attackers and is spearheading the club's title challenge this season.

Leipzig seem to be difficult to keep this 10-goal producer for one more season although their manager claimed they won't let him go.
