Klopp, Allegri & Ten Hag nominated for Best Coach of the Year Globe Soccer Award

Klopp, Allegri and Ten Hag lead the list of nominees for Best Coach of the Year Globe Soccer Award.

Algeria coach Djamel Belmadi, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri, Ajax coach Erik Ten Hag and Portugal boss Fernando Santos lead the nominees for Best Coach of the Year Globe Soccer Award.

Last year France head coach Didier Deschamps who led his to win the 2018 World Cup had clinched the Best Coach of the Year Globe Soccer Award.

Djamel Belmadi (Algeria)

Belmadi led Algeria to success and earned his first international trophy. Algeria defeated every opponent on its road to the final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Egypt.

He made Algeria win its second continental title and became the North African second team, after Egypt, to win more than one AFCON trophy.

Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool)

Klopp has been on of the most successful managers in 2019 as he led Liverpool to reach into the Champions League final and avoid the failure like what had happened last year to win the trophy for the Reds.

He has also been named as The Best FIFA Men's Coach for 2019, can he win again this time?

Massimiliano Allegri (Former Juventus)

The former Juventus boss Allegri has been nominated for this award as well. He had won his fifth straight Scudetto for Juventus before he left the club in last summer.

He also helped Juventus reach Champions League last 8 but they were eliminated by another nominee Ten Hag's Ajax.

Erik Ten Hag (Ajax)

The Ajax coach made history in Champions League as he led the young team to get into the semi-finals and nearly touch the ground of final.

Ten Hag has won treble with Ajax including Eredivisie, KNVB Cup and Johan Cruyff Shield in 2019.

Fernando Santos (Portugal)

The Portugal head coach has led his team to sweep another trophy after the UEFA EURO 2016 and they won the inaugural UEFA Nations League champions.

He and his captain Ronaldo who was named Best Men's Player of the Year Globe Soccer Award for 2018 are all named in the Globe Soccer Award.
