Another weekend with several huge league clashes is coming as we bring you all you need to know ahead of it.

Sheffield United vs Liverpool

Liverpool will have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the EPL to eight points in Saturday's kick-off and pile the pressure on Man City ahead of their match away to Everton later in the day.

Keita made his comeback from injury in victory over MK Dons in the Carabao Cup, though Klopp has conceded neither Oxlade-Chamberlain nor he are up to speed. They will only make the bench at best on Saturday.

Mane picked up a knock against Chelsea last weekend but is expected to recover in time to feature here, while Alisson is closing in on a return from injury.

All of Juventus' victories this season have come by the closest possible margin, which means they are struggling to dominate matches, but at the same time they always manage to get the three points.

Alex Sandro has had a family emergency and did not train with the rest of the team and he might not be called up. This would mean no full-backs are available for the left flank, where Matuidi might have to cover.

Spirits at Chelsea will be high after their 7-1 win over Grimsby on Wednesday butFrank Lampard's side are still searching for their first clean sheet of the season.

Emerson is out until after the October international break, meaning Alonso will hold down a place at left-back until then. Hudson-Odoi also made his return in midweek but won't be considered for a start here given the quick turnaround between matches.

Giroud has missed Chelsea's last two matches through illness and in that time has dropped below Batshuayi in the pecking order.

Tottenham vs Southampton

Tottenham's season took another turn for the worse in midweek as they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Colchester. Back on home turf, Pochettino will hope for a repeat of their most recent match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, that a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Foyth is back in training and will hope to play some part for the home side, while Sessegnon will be assessed as he aims to recover from a thigh problem in time for Saturday's welcome of Southampton. Lo Celso is ruled out until November, however, but Pochettino will be happy that Tottenham's injury list has eased.

Manchester City can't afford to pay too much attention to their upcoming Champions League commitments having already fallen five points off the lead but have the luxury of an outrageously talented squad to offer some players a rest each week.

Having rotated his squad in midweek, Guardiola's biggest decision will arguably be whether to recall Sterling to the starting XI having missed out in the 8-0 rout over Watford.

Bernardo Silva played the 90 minutes at Preston and could be the man rested should the England international regain his place in the league.

Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid

Atletico Madrid got back to winning ways last time out with a 2-0 victory against newly-promoted Real Mallorca.

Real Madrid bounced back from their defeat to PSG with two victories, keeping consecutive clean sheets in wins over Sevilla and Osasuna.

Morata will miss the weekend's action after picking up two yellow cards against Mallorca. Felix will be asked to partner Diego Costa up front for the home side as a result.

Mendy and Marcelo are both sidelined due to injury for the visitors, which will see Nacho feature at left-back. Kroos and Casemiro should anchor the midfield, with Modric still not fully fit.

Man United vs Arsenal

Arsenal remarkably haven't won a Premier League game at Old Trafford since 2006 but Emery's side may not get a better chance to win away to United than now. 

Solskjaer's side are really struggling and it's hard to see them coming away with a positive result even at home.

Manchester United could be without Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford for their Premier League fixture against Arsenal. Tuanzebe should now seriously be considered for a start ahead of Lindelof, who has not played well this season.

Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney both made their comebacks from injury in midweek. Maitland-Niles is available again after serving a one-match ban in midweek, but faces competition for a starting berth from Chambers, who has impressed in recent outings.
