The Angel of Death! PSG winger Di Maria named All Football Player of the Week

Paris Saint-Germain winger Angel Di Maria has been named All Football Player of the Week.

Di Maria highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating De Bruyne, Haaland, Lewandowski, Bernardo and Llorente to the award.

In the Champions League opener against Real Madrid, Di Maria provided a prefect performance to claim a 3-0 win at home for PSG.

Di Maria spent four years with Real between 2010-14 and was a key figure in their 2013-14 Champions League success -- a 10th title. But his killer instinct has never faded away when facing his former club.

Back to the Ligue 1 match, Di Maria produced a match-winning assist to Neymar to seal another vital victory over Lyon.

The 'Angel of Death' has offered five goals and two assists so far this season. PSG have the competitiveness to make progress in UCL with Di Maria's good form and Neymar's return.
