Bayern make €90m-Coutinho most valuable loan player in history (Transfermarkt)

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho. The 27-year-old will join the Bundesliga champions on an initial one-year loan deal, with the Bavarians having an option to buy the Brazilian next summer.
Bayern will pay a loan fee of €8.5 million and the player’s wages in the first year, while the option to buy is set at €120 million, the Catalonian club confirmed.
Coutinho joined Barcelona from Liverpool for over £130 million in January 2018 but failed to become an undisputed starter.
Last season, he was directly involved in 16 goals in 54 matches in all competitions.
With a market value of €90 million (£81m), Coutinho is the most valuable loan player in history.
