Treble chaser Lionel Messi named All Football Player of the Week once again

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has been named All Football Player of the Week once again. It seems that 'Messi' means 'win'

Messi highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Benzema, Sterling, Son Heung-min & Mbappe to the award.

Lionel Messi dazzled in Barcelona's 3-0 win over Manchester United & led Catalans to progress to the Champions League semi-finals. 

He produced a signature left-footed finish from the edge of the box to extend the hosts' aggregate advantage after 16 minutes, adding a second goal four minutes later when De Gea fumbled his right-footed effort from a similar position.

After the great performance, Messi landed UCL Goal of the Week and UCL player of the Week awards. Now the Argentine is this season's top scorer in the Champions League (10 goals) and also leading the race in European Golden Shoe 2019 with 33 league goals.
