Ajax's giant killer Dusan Tadic named All Football Player of the Week

Ajax attacker Dusan Tadic has been named All Football Player of the Week!

Tadic highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Lukaku, Sterling, Mane & Ribery to the award.

Dusan Tadic produced two stunning assists & a brilliant goal as Ajax destroyed Champions League holders Real Madrid 4-1 in their 2nd leg of UCL knockout round on Tuesday night at the Bernabeu.

Interestingly, Madrid legend Zidane was the man who inspired him in the historic UCL victory. As Tadic said: "It's probably the best game of football I've ever played. Zidane was always my favorite player. Maybe I was watching too many of his clips…"

3 days later, Tadic netted 2 league goals against Fortuna Sittard. Now he has scored 17 league goals in a single season for the first time in his career (24 games for Ajax this season).

It is not often that a 30-year-old is found playing the best football of their career, but the Serbian did it.
