Man Utd monster Romelu Lukaku named All Football Player of the Week

Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku has been named All Football Player of the Week! Congratulations!

Lukaku highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Suarez, Van Dijk, Morata & Jorginho to the award.

Maybe Lukaku will always have his critics, but a record four goals in two games tells its own story. In the last week, the big Belgian has responded with two goals against Crystal Palace and two more against Southampton, propelling Man Utd back into the top-four.

With four goals in the past two games, he joins fellow Man Utd marksmen Wayne Rooney, Andy Cole, Michael Owen, Teddy Sheringham, Robin Van Persie and Dwight Yorke in the list of top 20 all-time Premier League goalscorers (113 goals). And don't forget he's still only 25 years old now, although he has been famous for a long time.

Having endured such a long run without a goal towards the end of last year, Lukaku's performance last week has staked a claim to be their central striker for the clash with PSG in the Champions League in midweek.
