Arsenal picked up a 2-1 win against Cardiff in midweek, taking advantage of the fact Manchester United could only draw 2-2 with Burnley. The Gunners have scored in their last five league visits to the Etihad and have a real chance to get a positive result on Sunday.

Defeat to Newcastle would have been a hammer blow to City's confidence. Pep Guardiola will demand a response but it might be difficult to get back on the horse after losing move ground in the title race.
