Official: Chievo sign Empoli striker Manuel Pucciarelli

Chievo have officially announced the signing of Empoli striker Manuel Pucciarelli, on loan with obligation to buy.

The 26-year-old made 25 Serie A starts for the Tuscan outfit last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

“A.C. Chievo Verona announces the signing of Manuel Pucciarelli from Empoli FC on a two-year loan with obligation to buy,” the Flying Donkeys said in a statement on their official website.

“The striker has signed a contract until 2021, with an option to extend to 2022 and will wear shirt number 20.

“At the same time, A.C. Chievo Verona announces the outright sale of the goalkeeper Ivan Provedel to Empoli FC.”
