RUMOUR: Real Madrid want Mourinho after Utd sacking and will pay £18m a year (El Pais)
Santiago Solari signed a three-year contract with Real Madrid last month but the feeling is that he is just a short-term solution.
El Pais goes as far as to say that Mourinho is set to return to Bernabeu - a suggestion that is welcome by about 40% of Marca's Los Blancos fans.

RUMOUR: Milan WILL NOT buy Higuain and he might join Chelsea in January (Sky Italia)
It is no secret that Maurizio Sarri needs a true goalscorer at Chelsea, and he might turn to the former Napoli hitman Gonzalo Higuain.

Khedira's contract with Juventus still has two years to run but he is affected by injury problems and sees his position taken by Rodrigo Bentancur and Emre Can.

Credibility: ★★☆☆☆
RUMOURS: Bayern to pay €85m release clause for Lucas Hernandez in January (Marca)
Marca reports that Bayern Munich place a surprising €85m bid for Atletico Madrid's Lucas Hernandez, and Atletico are quick to deny the rumours.
To be honest €85m for a defender would be very attractive for any club in the world, but given Atletico's injury crisis, they certainly want to hold him on for as long as possible.

NEWS: OFFICIAL: Barcelona sign Valencia defender Jeison Murillo on six-month loan deal
As bizarre as it seems, it's a done deal. Murillo has only featured three times this season for Valencia, but Barcelona still identify him as someone who can solve their defensive injury crisis.
It is just a short-term contract, although Barcelona have an option to sign him permanently for €25m.
