Atletico Madrid were pipped to top spot in Champions League Group A by Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday as they were held to a goalless draw by Club Brugge in Belgium.

SAVE! Horvath comes to Brugge's rescue thanks to a smart save. Saul's run down the left was not tracked and he picked out Partey with his cross. The midfielder cushioned the ball towards goal, but Horvath dived to his left to deny him.

CHANCE - Denswil tries his luck from the set piece and he gets the ball up and over the wall. However, Oblak watches the shot all the way and brings into his chest before clearing his lines.

25' SAVE! Griezmann's shot denied

SAVE! Griezmann has been a passenger so far but he bursts into life and nearly opens the scoring. The Frenchman picks up possession on the edge of the box before curling a shot towards the far corner but Horvath tips his effort over the bar.

74' Great save from Oblak

CHANCE!!! Peres is denied by an acrobatic save from Oblak at the far post and Brugge fans are left stunned as the scoreline remains 0-0. The sub peeled away at the far post, but he could not head home and Oblak is the hero.

Club Brugge put on a spirited display to hold Atletico Madrid to a goalless draw in Group A, costing the visitors top spot.

The Spanish outfit needed a win to guarantee first place, or hope that Dortmund did not win in Monaco. 

But Dortmund triumphed 2-0 in the principality as Atleti drew a blank against a lively Brugge side, who very nearly snatched victory 15 minutes from time when substitute Luan Peres had a header saved by the foot of Jan Oblak.
