Hello again! We organize clubs of Europe's top 5 leagues into an order that reflects the up-to-the-minute hierarchy every Tuesday.

The rankings are a season-long measurement of clubs, tracking teams throughout 2018-19 and taking into account results from all competitions. Our rankings consider advanced stats, full-season play and recent performance with some gut feeling mixed in.

Sides that have lost the fewest games naturally rank higher—though the strength of opposition met in a loss is considered—and both UEFA Champions/Europa League form and presence are used as tiebreakers for those with similar records. Teams that gather big wins against strong opponents get a boost.

Here is the top ten of the week

10. Real Madrid

Finally, Los Blancos returned to La Liga top 4 after recent resurgence under Solari.

Isco hit brace on his first start under Solari as Marco Asensio & Co. sealed a resounding 6-0 Copa del Rey win over third-tier Melilla.

Gareth Bale ended his long-time goal drought after 11 league matches as Solari's side edge Huesca 1-0 to enter La Liga top 4.

9. Atletico

Atletico won both La Liga and Copa del Rey games last week, holding on third place in league standings.

Thomas Lemar was among the four goalscorers as Simeone's side thrashed Sant Andreu with a 4-0 win in Copa del Rey.

Nikola Kalinic scored his first goal in La Liga as Antoine Griezmann & co. ensured Diego Costa's absence was not sorely felt with a 3-0 win over high-flying Deportivo Alaves.

8. PSG

The game between PSG and Montpellier has been postponed over 'Gillet jaune' protest.

Two Madrid teams thus cut the cup down with the Parisians in our Rankings this week.

7. Dortmund

The BVB remained on top of Bundesliga after Revierderby victory.

England sensation Jadon Sancho settled the first Revierderby of the season with the winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Schalke 04.

Favre's side strode forward with 7 points clear at the top, it the Bundesliga title already within reach?

6. Arsenal

The Gunners kept undefeated last week, extending their unbeaten run to 21 games.

Arsenal shared a 2-2 draw with Manchester United in controversial Old Trafford clash during which Lucas Torreira delivered an assist.

Three days later, the Uruguayan midfield engine finished off late win with an acrobatic winner to seal 1-0 victory at Huddersfield.

5. Chelsea

Blues handed Man City first Premier League defeat of the season... but lost to Wolves in midweek.

A below-pair Chelsea suffered a 2-1 loss to Premier League newcomers Wolves despite Ruben Loftus-Cheek goal.

Three days later, Sarri's side shrugged off bad form in style as Eden Hazard assisted N'Golo Kante and David Luiz to snap Manchester City's 15-game unbeaten run in a 2-0 triumph.

4. Manchester City

Manchester City slipped to 4th in our Rankings after first league defeat at Chelsea.

Leroy Sane and Riyad Mahrez helped the Citizens seal a 2-1 win over Watford in midweek.

On Saturday however, Guardiola's side were stunned by a better-performed Chelsea in a 2-0 loss, which became their first Premier League defeat of the season.

3. Liverpool

Liverpool capitalized Manchester City's slip up to go top of Premier League table.

The Reds sealed two wins last week, beating Bournemouth 4-0 and defeating Burnley with a 3-1 win.

Mohamed Salah reached 50-goal landmark at Liverpool as he completed a sensational hat-trick in Bournemouth win.

2. Barcelona

Messi-inspired Barca remained on top of La Liga table after Catalan Derby win.

The Catalans powered to a 4-0 win over derby rivals Espanyol during which Lionel Messi scored two world-class free-kicks in the same game.

His goal means the Argentina superstar has reached 10 league tally in this term, becoming the first player to hit the landmark in 13 consecutive La Liga seasons.

1. Juventus

Juventus equaled the best start to season in European top five leagues, setting club history after Derby d'Italia triumph.

Mario Mandzukic scored his first goal in Derby d'Italia with a classic header as Juventus beat Inter with a 1-0 win.

The sensational victory allowed Bianconeri to equal the record set by Paris Saint-Germain this season of 43 points from the first 15 Ligue 1 rounds.
