Man Utd fans react as leopard-print kit made for FIFA 19 goes on sale for £65

Manchester United have released their bizarre leopard-print kit made for FIFA 19 and fans have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the £65 shirt.

Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich will also have fourth kits available to buy even though the teams themselves, including Jose Mourinho's United, will not wear them in real life.

In the game itself, the shirts can only be worn by teams in the Ultimate Team mode, which sees players build teams with existing players from any league around the world.

Following the release of United's garish strip, one Twitter user wrote: 'Hang on, they’ve actually made this for real???'

Another said: 'That leopard print 4th kit, we're turning into Memechester United.'

While another Tweet read: 'The irony of watching 11 sloths ambling around dressed as cheetahs is not lost on me.'

One Twitter user included a GIF of Homer Simpson retreating into a hedge alongside the caption: 'If they wear this on the pitch...'

United progressed to the Champions League knockout stages earlier this week and travel to Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday.
