Hello again! We organize clubs of Europe's top 5 leagues into an order that reflects the up-to-the-minute hierarchy every Tuesday.
The rankings are a season-long measurement of clubs, tracking teams throughout 2018-19 and taking into account results from all competitions. Our rankings consider advanced stats, full-season play and recent performance with some gut feeling mixed in.
Sides that have lost the fewest games naturally rank higher—though the strength of opposition met in a loss is considered—and both UEFA Champions/Europa League form and presence are used as tiebreakers for those with similar records. Teams that gather big wins against strong opponents get a boost.
Here is the top ten of the week
Real Madrid, after a 3-0 humiliation at Eibar, have been dumped out of our top 10 for this week.
While Bayern Munich, following the disappointing draw with Dusseldorf, remain out.
10. Atletico Madrid
Atleti continued good form in November after drawing with Barcelona.
Diego Costa finally ended his 9-month La Liga goal drought as the Spanish striker scored in Wanda Metropolitano to help snatch a 1-1 home draw with Barcelona.
Bounced back from Dortmund humiliation, Diego Simeone's side now go 6 games unbeaten in all competitions.
9. Tottenham Hotspur
Five consecutive wins in all competition, Spurs earned a deserved spot in our Rankings after beating Chelsea.
Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min were on the scoresheet, while Christian Eriksen was inspired to seal a resounding 3-1 win over London rivals Chelsea.
Mauricio Pochettino's side now rank third in Premier League table, 5 points off leaders Manchester City.
8. Paris Saint-Germain
The Parisiens remained peerless in Ligue 1 as they make it 14 out of 14.
Edinson Cavani's wonderful strike at 9th minute was enough for PSG as Thomas Tuchel's side secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Toulouse.
The Parisiens unprecedentedly marched into a 14th successive Ligue 1 win, even with Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe both sidelined.
7. Arsenal
Finally, the Gunners ended their three consecutive draws after beating Bournemouth 2-1.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the decisive goal from Sead Kolasinac assist, who also forced an own goal, to beat Bournemouth 2-1.
Unai Emery's side now sit within one point off Premier Top 4 with Tottenham Hotspur clash to come next round.
6. Chelsea
Blues slipped to 6th in our Ranking after being stunned by Tottenham Hotspur, getting only 1 point in two games.
David Luiz and Alvaro Morata had a nightmare as Harry Kane & Co brushed aside Blues with 3 goals in 46 minutes at Wembley Stadium. Substitute Oliver Giroud scored a header, but it wasn't too little too late.
Maurizio Sarri's side thus suffered their first defeat of the season and saw Spurs overtake them in Premier League standings.
5. Dortmund
BVB go 4 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, sitting 9 points ahead of Bayern Munich.
Paco Alcacer came off the bench to find the net once again with his first touch of the ball as Lukasz Piszczek stroke late to seal a 2-1 away win over Mainz.
Seeing his loan deal become permanent at the BVB, Alcacer now leads Bundesliga top scorer race with 9 goals.
4. Liverpool
Liverpool kept pressure on leaders Manchester City after Watford win.
Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino's goals lead Liverpool to a 3-0 win over Watford as Alexander-Arnold hit a brilliant Gerrard-esque free-kick.
As one of the only two teams unbeaten in Premier League, the Reds will take on Merseyside rivals Everton in the next round after PSG showdown in Champions League.
3. Barcelona
Should Barca let 'trouble-maker' Ousmane Dembele go? The France kid gave his response.
Barcelona were 1-0 down at Wanda Metropolitano before Ousamane Dembele replaced Arthur at 80th minute. The France winger had an immediate effect as he slotted home equaliser from a 90-minute Lionel Messi assist.
However, a draw with Atletico saw Ernesto Valverde's side slip to second place in La Liga table after Andre Silva powered Sevilla to win.
2. Juventus
Ronaldo & Mandzukic put Bianconeri on record start moving 8 points clear at the top.
The front duo scored together again after Milan win as Juventus cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win over SPAL.
In-form Ronaldo bagged home his 10th goal at Juventus, becoming the fastest new Bianconeri comer to reach the landmark.
1. Manchester City
Can anyone stop Pep Guardiola's side in Premier League?
David Silva, Leroy Sane and Co helped Manchester City sweep past West Ham with an easy 4-0 victory to remain on top of Premier League standings.
The Citizens could register a flawless November should they beat Nabil Fekir's Lyon in Champions League rematch.
