Kahn outvotes Neuer, Ozil dropped... How AFers decide Germany all-time Best XI revealed

As the winner of four World Cups, Germany is loved by all football fans for their tactical discipline and numerous stars. We have released the vote of Germany's all-time Best XI yesterday, and the results are as follows:

Goalkeeper

Oliver Kahn (51.3% of votes)

Kahn’s career is full of regrets, but this does not affect AFers to choose him as the best goalkeeper in German history. His main competitor Manuel Neuer got 41% of votes.

Defenders

Philipp Lahm (24.2% of votes)

Franz Beckenbauer (18%)

Mats Hummels (17.3%)

Jerome Boateng (17.2%)

The Germany former captain Philipp Lahm got the most votes among the options, as his two partners Hummels, Boateng and the great legend Beckenbauer joined him to form the defensive line.

Lothar Matthäus (23.1% of votes)

Michael Ballack (22.3%)

Bastian Schweinsteiger (21.2%)

Mesut Özil (21.1%) missed this squad with a slight disadvantage as AFers chose a midfield lineup which consists of midfielders from different generations: Matthäus, Ballack and Bastian.

Miroslav Klose (22.3%)

Thomas Müller (21.2%)

Gerd Müller and Miroslav Klose remain top 2 scorers in German history as Thomas Müller is still tracing the legends' paces to contribute to his country.
