Focus:

Daniel Carvajal is carrying a knock, but could be rushed back to feature at right-back against Atleti.

Marcelo limped off with an injury problem for Real Madrid midweek, which should see Nacho start at left-back.

Lucas is set to get the nod ahead of Filipe Luis at left-back from Diego Simeone.

Virgil van Dijk is expected to overcome a chest issue to start alongside Joe Gomez in defence.
