@as_win10: Most of the fans become emotionally attached to a team due to a particular player. There are fans who change their team due to the transfer of their favourite player. I started watching football from 2008 when I was just 8 years old. I am an Indian. For the Indians the timing of English premier league is good. Other league matches will be very late. I started watching the English Premier League. The first football match I saw was between Manchester United and Manchester City. In that match Ronaldo was sent off and Wayne Rooney scored the match winner. From that time onwards I decided to support Manchester United. My favourite player forever is Wayne Rooney. And then I started to support Manchester United. First, it was only due to Wayne Rooney. Gradually it changes. I became a huge fan of Sir Alex Ferguson. That time Manchester United was a very strong team with the most fan base. After I think I always try to not miss a single Manchester United match. My friends will tease me sometimes about my football fond. Now I am a huge football fan. I am watching most of the main leagues. My favourite player Wayne Rooney had left the club in 2017. But that never affected me. I am still supporting Manchester United. My favourite player and club will not change forever.

I think the first attachment towards the club will be mainly due to a player. Gradually emotionally attachment increases. At last, it will be due to the whole team. Finally, we can't live without that club. I am very proud to say I am a Manchester United fan and it will never change.

@BabaNla_14: I started developing interest in football in 2003, although have been watching football before then, but what really attracted me most to football by then is effect of Cristiano Ronaldo, when Man Utd played against Arsenal, What Cristiano did for Ashley Cole that year I really love it, till today I still remember it like its yesterday scene 

@MuamerM: Well, to understand my passion for my club we need to go back 23.04.2004, back when I was around 12 and this was the first football game I watched. I am talking about 2nd leg game between Man United and Real Madrid. That night and that show by Ronaldo for Real Madrid and Ruud van Nistelrooy and Beckham for Man. United... a pure joy to watch them. But... personally, Raul Gonzalez Blanco stood out that night and his performance had the even greater impact on me. As soon as I saw him play I already knew this is the club I will support... and 18 years later I still do. During these 15 years, I witnessed the ups and downs Real Madrid encountered, together we survived trophyless years, together we stayed in Barcelona's shadow. I have seen players like Zidane, Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Figo, Helgeura, Guti, Raul, Casillas play together also I have seen them go to a different club or retire. In these 15 years many players have come and gone, many games have been lost and many trophies have been won but my love for Real Madrid has grown. I supported Real Madrid is not so successful times and I always will. Win, lose or tie Madridista till I die. Hala Madrid!
