Medel: I’m staying at Inter

An Argentinian journalist says Gary Medel told him he’ll stay at Inter, rather than moving to Boca Juniors.

It has been widely expected that the Chilean international will continue his career at La Bombonera, after three seasons with the Nerazzurri.

However, TyC Sports journalist Leandro Aguilera says he has spoken directly to Medel, who assured that he’ll be staying at San Siro next season.

The 29-year-old can play in both central midfield and at centre-back, and made 31 appearances for the Beneamata in all competitions last season.
