Arsenal youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide has called time on his career at the Emirates in favour of making a return to France with Angers.
The midfielder spent the latter half of last season on loan with the Ligue 1 club and has now sealed a permanent switch for an undisclosed fee.
It marks a return to France for the 20-year-old, who joined Arsenal from French side Lens in the summer of 2015.
The player went on to make eight first-team appearances in his three years with the Gunners, but found opportunities limited.
Taking to their official website to announce the news of Reine-Adelaide's move, Arsenal wished the player well for his next chapter.
'We would like to wish Jeff all the best for the future.'
Brought in under Arsene Wenger, Reine-Adelaide appeared to be a promising prospect and flourished during the pre-season Emirates Cup competition of 2015.
After dazzling against Lyon, Wenger sung the praises of player highly.
Reine-Adelaide is something special, you know," he told Arsenal Player.
'After his cameo against Lyon in the Emirates Cup. "He is a great talent and when he came on you could see that... I don't remember how I played at 17 but I didn't play like that!'
