EA boost the FIFA 18 ratings of every France player in World Cup mode

France ended 30 years of hurt by winning the World Cup for the second time ever with a breathtaking 4-2 victory over Croatia in the final.

To celebrate, EA Sports have released a lot of updates including a Festival of FUTBall team made up of their squad. And now they have gone one step further by upgrading all 23 Frenchmen in FIFA 18's World Cup mode.

Every France player is now 86-rated or above in the mode while the top three players are unsurprisingly Antoine Griezmann,  N'Golo Kante and Young Player of the Tournament Kylian Mbappe.

After scoring a penalty and winning the freekick which lead to another goal in the first half,  Griezmann is France's highest rated player in the mode.

With an overall of 95, Griezmann's card is stacked featuring 93 pace, 98 dribbling, 95 shooting, 94 passing and 84 physicality.

Meanwhile, Mbappe was given a particularly good upgrade for also being crowned the Young Player of the Tournament.

His 94-rated card is frightening with 98 pace, 97 dribbling, 95 shooting, 91 passing and 89 physicality.

Completing the top three is  Kante who is now deservedly rated at 93. His card has 87 pace, 90 dribbling, 77 shooting, 91 defending, 88 passing and 92 physicality.

With the same overall is Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, his 93-rated card looks perfect for FIFA with 92 pace, 85 dribbling, 70 shooting, 95 defending, 80 passing and 93 physicality.

On top of that, Paul Pogba's new 90-rated card also looks completely overpowered with 80 pace, 92 dribbling, 89 shooting, 92 passing and 91 physicality plus five-star skills and a four-star weak-foot.

Looking back at these cards really shows the star power that France possess and you can see how they were able to conquer the world's best. Considering a lot of these stars are still young, especially with Mbappe only being 19-years-old, you have to believe France could be adding a third star to their jerseys in four years time.
