Lazio unveil new home shirt

Lazio have unveiled their new home shirt for the forthcoming season - with the return of the famous eagle design used in 2014-15.

The Biancocelesti released a special kit that season to celebrate the 1986-87 season, which saw the team narrowly avoid relegation to Serie C.

It was rapturously received by both fans and neutrals, and today it has been confirmed that the kit will return as the home shirt for the coming campaign.

“After the great success in the 2014-15 season, Macron and S.S Lazio announce the ‘maglia bandiera’ as the new home shirt for 2018-19,” a statement confirmed.

“A shirt voted by many as being among the most beautiful in the history of S.S Lazio is back now with its futuristic eagle design, which appears to embrace the players who wear it.”
