Liverpool have unveiled their new third kit ahead of next season as part of their 'It Means More' campaign with sponsors New Balance.

The pair revealed the kit via a clip of the players in the video game, Pro Evolution Soccer, as part of their partnership with Konami.

Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and new boy Naby Keita all don the new white and grey kit in promotional photos, which pays homage to Liverpool's strip from the 1980's.

To commemorate the tragic events of Hillsborough, the 96 emblem, encased by the eternal flames sits at the nape of the neck.

The goalkeeper's third kit will be pink and black in stark contrast, but who will be wearing it come the new season remains to be seen as Liverpool target a new No 1, with Lorius Karius and Simon Mignolet's futures uncertain.

One of the main figures in the new kit promotion is Keita, as Liverpool released a video of him dancing in the new kit on Twitter.

Another prominent player is Mane, who is looking forward to taking Liverpool a step further next season.

He said: 'We had a strong campaign in 2017/18, and we already can't wait for the new season to begin. I'm really looking forward to stepping out onto the pitch and playing in the kit - it's a really strong look.'

Liverpool's preseason is already underway and so far the Reds have beaten Chester 7-0 and Tranmere 3-2 - where mistakes from 'keeper Karius have been highly publicized.

They will continue their build-up to the new season with games against Bury and Blackburn before things really start to heat up toward the end of July.

Jurgen Klopp's side will take on Borussia Dortmund and both Manchester clubs in quick succession before the Premier League season gets going.

All of Liverpool's third kit gear will be available from New Balance from July 13.
