Brazil trio Miranda, Danilo and Marcelo land in Madrid after World Cup exit

Late on Saturday night, three of Brazil's World Cup squad landed in Madrid amid the celebrations of the semi-finalists.

Defeat to Belgium sent the South Americans home from Russia, Marcelo and Miranda heading to the Spanish capital to begin their off-season holidays.

Danilo also touched down in Madrid on crutches and he will soon head to Barcelona for treatment on the ankle injury that ended his participation.

In fact, Marcelo was in such a rush to get home he forgot his iPad on the plane.
