Brazil stars are joined by their children for training

It was a training session with a difference for Neymar on Wednesday as the Brazil star was joined by his son.

Neymar spent part of the training session playing with his son Davi Lucca, with left-back Marcelo and goalkeeper Alisson having been accompanied by their kids the previous day.

Brazil are currently preparing for Friday's eagerly-anticipated quarter-final tie against Belgium.

Neymar, unsurprisingly, was the centre of attention during the training session in Sochi, with the Paris Saint-Germain star having received much criticism for his theatrics during the World Cup so far.

The 26-year-old appeared to be mocking his critics as he laid on the ground and feigned injury.

Neymar, along with Roberto Firmino, was on the scoresheet as Brazil beat Mexico 2-0 on Monday.

Although there was a light-hearted element to the training session, there was still time for some serious work as the Brazil players maintained their fitness levels.

Should Brazil manage to prevail past Belgium then they will take on either Uruguay or France in the final.

Five-times winners of the competition, Brazil have not won the World Cup since 2002.
