Cecafa Kagame Cup: Another goal for Meddie Kagere as Simba SC draw

Simba will meet the second placed team in Group A, either Azam or Jeshi La Kujenga Uchumi in the first quarter final tie

Mddie Kagere scored his second goal for Simba SC as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Singida United on Wednesday.

Kagere, who signed for the Tanzanian giants from Kenyan champions Gor Mahia scored in the 15th minute. It was his second goal having scored against APR of Rwanda in their opening match.

Kagere rose high to nod home a floated cross from Jamal Mwambeleko in the box at the quarter hour mark. The exciting Mwambeleko did the donkey work, weaving his way past several legs to pick out the former Gor Mahia man who did not hesitate to put his goal poaching skills into use.
