A 3-0 demolition of Poland in their second match in Group H got Colombia back on track after their surprise defeat to Japan.

Los Cafeteros were excellent against a deeply disappointing Polish outfit and they will be hoping to put in another strong attacking display against Senegal.

The African side could have booked their place in the last 16 on Sunday, yet they twice gave away a lead to draw 2-2 with Japan and Aliou Cisse's men need a point on Thursday to make the knockout stages.

Colombia are clear favourites for the clash in Samara with William Hill offering them at 17/20 (1.85), a price that could be of interest to many. Senegal for their part are available at 3/1 (4.00) while the draw is priced at 13/5 (3.60).

Colombia have two injury concerns with goalkeeper David Ospina and defensive midfielder Abel Aguilar both facing a race against time to be fit for the game having picked up knocks in the clash with Poland.

Colombia's attacking performance on Sunday was one of the most impressive of the entire group stage, with James Rodriguez, Juan Cuadrado, Radamel Falcao and in particular Juan Quintero combining in almost unstoppable fashion.

Senegal meanwhile have scored twice in both of their matches although three of their four goals have been somewhat fortuitous with two goalkeeping mistakes and a deflection helping them.

Cisse's side should be able to contribute to an entertaining encounter, but if Colombia repeat their form from Sunday evening, they will be difficult to beat.

With both sides having produced high scoring games so far in the tournament, the temptation is to back another goal-filled encounter.
