Despite a catastrophic showing in their last game against Croatia, Argentina head into their final game of Group D with hopes of progressing to the last 16.

The 3-0 defeat to Croatia was a severe blow to their confidence, as well as their goal difference, yet victory over Nigeria could still see Jorge Sampaoli's side make the knockout stages.

Nigeria currently occupy second spot in Group D behind Croatia and a draw for the Super Eagles would almost certainly be enough to see them through to the next round.
