Manchester United ace Luke Shaw's girlfriend Anouska Santos wows in skimpy bikini in Ibiza

He recently vowed to stay at Manchester United to see out his contract with the club, after a rocky season following run-ins with manager Jose Mourinho.

But Luke Shaw, 22, appeared to have worries of his footballing future far from his mind on Sunday, when he enjoyed a sun-kissed getaway to Ibiza with his stunning girlfriend Anouska Santos.

And Anouska was the undoubted star of the couple's leisurely day on the Balearic island, displaying her curves in a black patterned string bikini during a boat ride with pals, before joining her beau for a fun-filled jet skiing session.

The blonde beauty showed off her developing tan in her barely-there halterneck number of choice, which she complemented with a series of gold necklaces, sparkling rings and glittering earrings.

Shielding her eyes behind a pair of aviator sunglasses, she appeared to be in her element as she took to the crystal clear azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea with her sportsman boyfriend, taking control as they sped along.

Lovebirds Luke and Anouska have shared few details of their trip to Ibiza, which kicked off late last week, save for snapshots of them out and about with several pals.

However, one of the couple's friends shared a snap of the group posing before a private jet on the tarmac as they revealed their arrival on the White Isle.

Luke's trip to Ibiza comes after it was revealed that the Manchester United full-back plans to remain with his team and see out his contract, despite manager Jose openly expressing his desire to add new defenders to the roster this summer.

He is understood to have challenged Jose after  being taken off at half-time against Brighton in the FA Cup in March, protesting: 'Why is it always me?'

The United boss was seemingly targeting the left-back for particular criticism and has constantly preferred 32-year-old Ashley Young, who has been called up to England's World Cup squad.

Luke's teammates are said to have sympathy for him, though some also believe he could make more of his talents at the club.

He made 19 appearances last season and the club activated an option which extends his contract until next summer.

The footballer was widely expected to leave this summer with Mourinho pushing to add Alex Sandro from Juventus or alternatives.

However, Luke - who is set to celebrate his 23rd birthday on July 12 - is now looking to stay, fight for his place and see out his deal.
